The frozen feather i found....

It floats graceful through the air
the wind guides it to each touch
crashing it at ease

Amazing how its holding on for so long
though many of them are separated
out on the ice cold seas

As they have been drowned
and devoured by the oceans,
forgotten and lost until
they were no more...

Some have made it to plain lands
never staying on the same spots.
Just moving swiftly away
Like always...

But winter has captured it with her hands,
now its resting gently on the ground
like one of the fallen
frozen in the sands....
